I use activities in therapy that you will find fun and interesting. Adult sessions are conducted using therapist directed intervention methods, on-line visual aids, and software training programs in tandum with close, on-going personal support. Kids will enjoy using my engaging manipulatives, on-line animated stories, games and creative projects to stimulate treatment. You will not see me using boring worksheets, word flashcards, or monotonous drill work. Therapy is hard work, but it can be FUN and entertaining! And the benefits of having therapy in the home setting go beyond providing comfort and convenience. The natural atmosphere sets a prime environment for learning. I encourage family involvement and teach techniques that reinforce carry-over of the lessons into everyday life.
